NK Field Locations Announced

The locations for the next five editions of the Dutch Championships Field Archery have been announced. The calendar was confirmed during an organizational meeting in Eindhoven earlier this year.

Dutch Championships Field Archery 2025

At the beginning of 2025, Koninklijke HandboogSport Nederland (KHSN) announced via its calendar that the NK Field would be hosted in Zoetermeer at the end of June. However, around March, it was announced that the tournament would be moved to a different club.

HKS Zoetermeer informed the KHSN that they would not be able to organize the field competition, which led the federation to look for a new host club.

In June of this year, OBK Hapert announced that it would organize a World Archery A-status field tournament. Previously, the club had only hosted B-status tournaments.

A- and B-status tournaments differ in terms of rules. At A-status events, archers can shoot for records and qualify, for example, for European or World Championships. These events are supervised by official judges who ensure that World Archery regulations are strictly followed.

On the field, during the tournament on June 7th and 8th, OBK Hapert announced that they will host the Dutch Championships Field in 2026. This has since been confirmed by the KHSN. Following the 2024 championships in Ysselsteyn and this year’s edition in Tienray, the event will remain in the south of the Netherlands for the next few years.

The locations for 2027 through 2030 have also been revealed:

  • 2027: The tournament will move north to the Dutch Open Archery Gasselte.
  • 2028: The national field tournament will be hosted by Oude Doelen Roosendaal.
  • 2029: The event returns to Ons Genoegen Ysselsteyn, where it was also held in 2024.
  • 2030: The championship moves to Haakbersche Schutterij in Haaksbergen.
